The three pillars of health

and create harmony between the three determining factors of health:
the structural, the biochemical and the emotional.
The structural
The structural pillar concerns everything that affects the skeleton: ligaments, muscles, nervous system, etc. Poor posture, trauma and falls are some of the most common problems that make a patient prone to subluxations and pain.
Our multidisciplinary team of chiropractors, osteopaths, physiotherapists and masseurs is here to help relieve physical distress caused either by injury or by a degenerative condition of the body.
The biochemical
The biochemical pillar represents the body’s chemistry and physiology. Nutrition, food intolerances, exposure to radio waves and heavy metals, and air pollution are just some of the many factors that can disrupt the endocrine system, which works in tandem with the nervous system. To ensure that your body functions to its full potential, our team of nutritionists, naturopaths and doctors will provide you with solutions to any discomfort caused by chemical reactions occurring in your body.
The emotional
The emotional pillar concerns the spirit, the emotions, the soul, the spiritual… Our body, our spirit and our soul are one and the same, and an alignment between these three states is necessary for optimal functioning of our entity. Many pains and illnesses are caused by neglect of mental health, poor management of emotional stress and overwork.
The story
of the MAZ Clinic

It was his meeting with a chiropractor that brought out in him a fascination for the human body and its holistic approach. From this moment, the beginnings of the vision of this future doctor start to bloom.
Armed with his experience and guided by his passions, Marc-Antoine went on to study chiropractic, graduating with a federal postgraduate qualification in Berne in 2018. His dedication to his profession and the discipline he brings to everything he undertakes will lead Dr. Zurkirch to bring together a college of specialists and create the MAZ Clinic two years later, the fruit of an idea that has been germinating for several years in the eyes of its founder, and which continues to flourish to bring you ever greater satisfaction.

Passionate about movement from an early age, Dénie Andreeva’s career path led her to discover the Feldenkrais Method. After graduating as a professional pianist and driven by her desire to pass on her knowledge, she joined the Conservatoire Populaire de Musique Danse et Théâtre de Genève to teach piano. It was in this context that she experimented with the Feldenkrais Method, which was presented during a continuing education course as a means of improving artistic performance, preventing the risk of injury and treating pain. These few hours of initiation were enough for her to feel the profound benefits of this practice on body and mind, to grasp its therapeutic scope and to decide to undertake the training she would complete with the therapist’s course. She regularly deepens her skills on specific subjects such as – among others – sleep and motor development in babies.
Considering the Feldenkrais Method and its principles based on movement, biomechanics, neuroplasticity and psychology as a genuine health education, she accompanies patients of all ages in a process of improvement, autonomy in terms of health and self-awareness. Through group or individual sessions, or themed workshops, each person accesses, enriches and strengthens his or her own resources.
Imbued with the holistic nature of the Feldenkrais Method, which takes into account the whole person, she felt totally in tune with the vision of the MAZ Clinic and joined the team in November 2022.
