Chiropractic
Chiropractic is one of the 5 university medical professions under the LPmed (federal law on medical professions).
Chiropractors are experts in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system and their consequences on nervous system function and general health.
The chiropractor’s goal is to re-establish normal message transmission between the nervous system and the body through spinal adjustments. An adjustment is the application of precise pressure to a specific segment to help the body recover on its own. By allowing the body to work at its best, chiropractic can relieve pain, improve spinal function and should be considered part of a healthy lifestyle, whatever the patient’s age.
