Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a health profession recognized in Switzerland that uses manual therapy to relieve a wide range of symptoms related to the musculoskeletal system and its interactions with other systems of the human body (digestive, nervous, ENT, urogenital, lymphatic systems…). This therapy is therefore concerns interested in the mobility of the body and its functioning in its entirety.

During a consultation, the osteopath will conduct a medical examination as well as clinical and osteopathic tests to evaluate your mobility and determine the appropriate treatment. The osteopath will use different manual techniques to relieve your problem, such as pressure on the muscles, joint manipulation or gentle mobilization. The aim of osteopathy is also to help the patient identify the factors influencing the individual’s health and symptoms, in order to promote the benefits
of treatment in the long term.

Osteopathy can be used at any age, from birth to old age, and for both chronic and acute problems.

SwitzerlandOsteo Dipl. MSc HES-SO

It is the attraction of movement and body gestures through the practice of dance since childhood that led Norina Cettou to osteopathy. She therefore began her osteopathy studies at the HEdS in Fribourg in 2014 and obtained her Master’s degree in 2019. Sharing the same vision that considers the patient as the main actor of his health, she joined the MAZ Clinic team in 2020. His interest in emergency medicine also led him to join the Osteopathic On-Call Service (SCOGE).
Norina continues to train regularly, particularly in pediatric osteopathy, ENT and endopelvic techniques.
She views each consultation as an encounter with a person and their story, in order to better meet the needs of those who consult her.
